Hiring the right caregiver is one of the most important parts of arranging live-in home care. Center City Home Care thoroughly evaluates potential employees, sorting through hundreds of applications. We call the best applicants and then meet with each person where we screen for traits like integrity, compassion, and reliability. We complete a thorough background check, verify work history, confirm training and certification, and much more.
Screening and hiring are only the beginning. Center City Home Care provides ongoing training and oversight to ensure that you receive the very best from your caregiver. We know the importance of selecting the right person the first time, so we only hire caregivers that we would choose for our own family members.
Each caregiver lives with his or her client for 14 days in a row while providing non-medical companion-level care. That two-week shift is followed by two weeks off, allowing the caregiver to recharge. Another thoughtfully selected caregiver works the next next two week shift, providing our clients with consistent quality in-home care.
Center City Home Care caregivers are paid on a weekly basis. We provide bonuses for qualified employee referrals, paid time off, and holiday pay. If you meet the requirements and want to work as a live-in home caregiver in Philadelphia, please click here to fill out an application.
